David Prutton believes a “fantastic” player who is expected to start in   final should  signed by Nottingham Forest.

David Prutton feels Southampton player Kyle Walker-Peters is excellent for Forest
In fact, Prutton was questioned on whether Forest had accomplished their season’s objective or if it had been a letdown.

Naturally, most think it was a little disappointing, but Prutton has given us a  on the teams at the bottom of the Premier League.

A relegated Burnley team was defeated by Forest thanks to two goals from Chris Wood, who scored against his former team.

Nuno Espirito Santo has been connected to Bayern Munich since Sunday, so it doesn’t appear that Forest will have a peaceful summer.

Prutton has been talking about specific transfer scenarios lately, and he has identified one player that may be quite helpful to Forest.

According to him, it all comes down to which players the clubs can afford to lose and then who they can sign to take their place.

He supported Walker-Peters as the kind of player who could enter Forest and have an impact when he gave his response.

“At the bottom of the Premier League, it’s all about which players you can keep,” he stated in an interview with the Forest Focus podcast.

“You observe the teams that will substitute their players in the Play-Off Final.

“Who will replace Archie Gray at Leeds and replace Summerville? Kyle Walker-Peters, who plays for Southampton, is an incredible player who would fit very well with Forest.

Walker-Peters has little chance of signing with Forest, even if the Saints lose to Leeds in the play-off final this coming weekend.

Walker-Peters, a right-sided full-back with wing-back tendencies, makes £36,000 a week at St Mary’s Stadium.

Although Forest wouldn’t be discouraged by that kind of pay, Southampton would eventually demand a hefty amount from any team that was interested in him.

This season, the 27-year-old has made 46 appearances across all competitions, racking up three goals and three assists.
