In Week 11 of the 2023 NFL season, we witnessed a little bit of everything. While the Detroit Lions were a 7.5-point home favorite, they had to overcome a 12-point hole in less than 4 minutes to win, while the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers both covered double-digit spreads.

The New York Giants easily defeated the Washington Commanders by double digits, despite being 7.5-point home favorites as well. And during their crushing in Buffalo, the New York Jets eventually caved and benched quarterback Zach Wilson in the late innings.

At this point in the season, any kind of victory can leave a lasting impression.

We will evaluate each roster each week of the season, paying special attention to its flaws. We will have created a large board for each team by the end of the campaign, depending on its most important requirements and desires. Considerations range from the need to cover urgent holes to the free agency player carousel in the offseason and the 2024 draft.

The shortcomings here are more comprehensive evaluations with consideration for both current and future roster construction than they are merely automatic responses to the games played over the weekend.

Alex Ballentine scouts every AFC team, while Matt Holder scouts every team.

A few of these players—especially the prospects included in our top 10 mock draft and 2024 draft trends—have already been covered in greater detail. Also available is the inaugural big board from B/R’s Draft Scouting Department, which shows the rankings of the top draft prospects. On Wednesday, November 29, the new version will launch.

Throughout the regular season, every Monday will provide more analysis of every roster.
