Tottenham is instructed to use Aston Villa’s “sensational bid” to capture Grealish from Manchester City.

In light of reports that Jack Grealish may leave Man City for Aston Villa this summer, Tottenham has been instructed to find him a new home in the number ten position.

The £100 million agreement that saw the Man City winger leave Aston Villa for the Etihad Stadium in 2024 is unlikely to have caused the England international any misgivings.

Grealish might add another Premier League and FA Cup to his collection of medals this season. During his time at Man City, he has won two Premier League crowns, an FA Cup, a Champions League, a UEFA Super Cup, and a FIFA Club World Cup.

However, Grealish has only made eleven Premier League appearances this season, meaning the 28-year-old has had difficulty breaking into Pep Guardiola’s starting lineup. After a mediocre campaign, a report on Monday claimed that Aston Villa “are plotting a sensational bid to re-sign” Grealish in the summer and that he “is the most likely of City’s superstar players to leave the club this summer.”

Now, former Tottenham defender Alan Hutton believes Grealish might be valuable to Spurs if they acquired him in the summer, but he is unsure if Daniel Levy would be willing to provide the money required to close a deal.

“I think Grealish could play at Tottenham in the number ten role,” Hutton said to Football Insider.

He could step in if Maddison isn’t feeling well or isn’t accessible. You need the backup.

However, from what I understand, money is the main factor. Man City spent £100 million, and while I was at Villa, Daniel Levy refused to pay the Championship £20 million to acquire him.

Even though he’s 28 now, they’ll demand a high price. When he’s playing at his best and in form, Grealish comes in and improves every team.

“I believe that he might be content with his current situation.
