£13.3 million In order to leave Aston Villa, Unai Emery is willing to accept a pay decrease.

In order to compete in the Champions League next season, Emery is now putting together a team that is prepared to fight on four fronts.

Though he’ll also be working on several outings, Monchi will be hard at work setting goals for his management.

Having said that, it has just come to light that one player truly wants to leave the team.

Alex Moreno, the left-back for Aston Villa, is reportedly eager to quit the team this summer, according to Cope Sevilla via Estadio Deportivo.

Moreno has been in and out of the team due to injuries since coming from Real Betis in January 2024 on a £13.3 million deal.

Now that a deal is possible, the 31-year-old is willing to return to Betis and will even accept a pay decrease.

Since he has a contract with Villa Park through 2026, Villa would probably want to recover the majority of the money they paid for him.

It’s been suggested that even with a pay cut for Moreno, the Spanish team could not be able to support him.

Villa would undoubtedly demand to receive the whole amount they paid for him, so that could be a challenge in any upcoming talks.

If Villa outbids Betis, they will take other options into consideration, but it’s understood that they will keep an eye on his progress all summer long.
