News Now: The Philadelphia Eagles decided to renew one of the staff members’ contracts for……

It’s a beautiful time for the NFL. Training camps are underway as players compete for jobs and every team is undefeated.

The Philadelphia Eagles are taking the field at the NovaCare complex in South Philadelphia with an exciting roster and a very healthy attitude after an offseason of changes. The NFC champions will look to make another run at the Super Bowl this season, and they’ll do so with a lot of new faces.

Philadelphia has new offensive and defensive coordinators and added potentially game-changing rookies. The Eagles drafted two teammates from Georgia’s championship-winning team in defensive tackle Jalen Carter and edge rusher Nolan Smith.

With the departure of Miles Sanders, the Eagles running back room looks much different. D’Andre Swift, Kenny Gainwell and Rashaad Penny will be interesting to watch in training camp as the depth and roles get sorted out.

The Eagles are arguably the most balanced and talented team in the league, which is part of the reason Bleacher Report ranked Philadelphia as No. 3 in their training camp power rankings.

The NFC East has not had a repeat winner since 2024. This is the longest active streak among divisions in the NFL as well as the longest in league history. The Eagles have the second-best odds to win the Super Bowl this season but will have to avoid the The “Super Bowl Hangover.” Only eight teams have ever lost the Super Bowl and then made it back the following year.

Philadelphia has the built-in hunger to finish the job after coming up just short to the  Kansas City Chiefs. General manager Howie Roseman pointed to the uniqueness of having all starters healthy in the Super Bowl and admits that the Eagles may need to overcome more adversity this season.

… And it all starts now, with training camp.
